User Interface
Below is a view inside of our Sens-Alert App, found at app.sens-alert.com. This is where users can configure their alert settings and see real-time updates in their device’s measurements, such as temperature, wind velocity, humidity, moisture, and more. There are also other features, such as the Strobe Light button, which (when clicked) initiates the bright blue light on the actual device for easier retrieval out in the field. The app’s web page has been designed with smartphone use in mind, so it is very mobile-friendly.
Real-time digitized voice notification for:
- Relative Humidity
- Temperature
- Wind Velocity
- Flood Irrigation Water Position
- Hay Toughness for Baling Start Time
- Intruders
- General Switch Closures or Openings
Possible Applications:
- Remote sensing/monitoring of Field crops
- Row Crops Orchards and Pastures
- Shop Security
- Intruder alert
- etc…
- Custom applications and configurations are also available.
The system is constructed in a durable portable enclosure that is water-tight. Other stand alone or fixed installations can be built as well as a simple desktop configuration that allows the control module to be located indoors with sensors extended to the outside.
This unit is water-tight.
The Sens-Alert systems initiate a call to you upon a trip event alerting you that the predetermined threshold has been achieved, using voice communication. The system can be monitored via any web-enabled device for current remote status or conditions via the user interface online at “app.sens-alert.com” (User Login is required).
Sens-Alert With Satellite Communications

The newest line of our Sens-Alert devices is one of our most versatile units. The present systems utilize the Iridium Satellite network for communications from the remote locations. Users can have multiple units each with their own sensors and alerting capabilities. Multiple units are monitored via the same portal so that you can monitor all your devices at a single location with a single login. The owner of the device controls all access to the devices in the portal. The owner assigns who is allowed access and who is alerted with a voice message in the event of a trip condition for each device.
Description of our Sens-Alert Satellite Short-Burst-Data system:
The Sens-Alert system is comprised of a properly configured Short Burst Data (SBD) module transceiver, A Sens-Alert control module, a power supply, and selected sensor(s). Transmission range is “unlimited” assuming the transceiver has a clear view of the sky. Choosing from a number of sensor options, the system functions to alert the operator that a certain condition exists in a remote location. Upon sensing the appropriate “trip condition” the Sens-Alert activates an auto-dialing sequence where it alternately dials any or all of the pre-programmed phone numbers stored in the web- portal User Control panel. These numbers are entered by the user prior to operation. The unit continues to call out at specified intervals until someone acknowledges the call by pressing a key on the receiving phone to acknowledge the call. The unit plays a pre- recorded message that indicates what has tripped the unit as well as which unit is making the call (in the case of multiple units). The trip points for the unit are all user-selected at the unit or via the web portal (link here), by the user prior to setting the unit in a remote location. The latest sensor values are presented in the User portal and are available anytime one is logged on. The user also has the ability to configure the unit so that they can call up the unit in the field and switch a local relay output. This allows for “remote switching” of some system adjacent to the unit. Presently, satellite SBD service is provided by Wireless Innovation for these systems. The systems can be placed in a “dormant mode” to reduce costs in the case of an off season or period of inactivity.

The Sens-Alert system is a fully self-contained package that includes a Short-Burst Data Satellite transceiver, a rechargeable battery with compatible charger, our Sens-Alert control unit, a hand carriable enclosure for easy transportation to remote site, and an instruction manual. Contact Dynasen Inc. to select the type of sensor(s) options you want to include, Additional custom features and components can be added – See below and call Dynasen Inc. to discuss possibilities and pricing.
Example in the field:
A common use for this system is forAlfalfa baling operations. In this application the Sens-Alert utilizes the Dual-Channel (two sensor dew/hay sensor) capability, developed for monitoring hay conditions. Instead of sleeping in their truck in the middle of their field all night, they let the Sens-Alert system do all the work. In this arrangement the operator sets the unit in a remote field adjacent to the windrow (where dew onset is to be determined). Next, they power up the device and verify the appropriate settings via the display on the front of the control panel. Then they set out their sensors for monitoring dew on the top and bottom of the wind row then they leave the device in the field and return to their shop or house and wait for a phone call alerting them that the device has reacted to dew onset! At any point in time that the unit is operational, they can view the most recently reported sensor values via the User Portal on any web enabled device. Also they can request a more recent update by requesting a “Heartbeat” from the device which will update older values in the user portal window.
